It feels like last week was a month ago. In that time since we sent you actions last week, we had a major victory! SB20-217 has passed both the state senate and house. Now it's on Polis' desk and it is sure to be signed.
It may not feel like much, but choosing to take even a single action on our list each week CAN create change. This week, we are focused on seeking justice as we embark on Juneteenth. See below for the actions of the week.

Using litigation, education, and other forms of advocacy, the SPLC works toward the day when the ideals of equal justice and equal opportunity will be a reality.

DAC will be hosting a virtual fundraiser this Friday for Juneteenth in support of the Southern Poverty Law Center. More info below about the event below.

Denver Action Committee, the political action group I'm involved in, is having a fundraiser on Friday at 7PM MST/9pm EST for the Southern Poverty Law Center. It will be a Zoom gathering. Learn and hear some stories. We will talk about the SPLC and share a couple of engaging stories.
